About Cavapaws!
Cavapaws was born from a lifelong love of dogs and a very sociable little Cavapoo called Benji.
Kirsty and Dan have both had furry family members in their lives for many years, but it was Benji who inspired us to create something a little different. Benji has always been incredibly friendly, gentle and sociable, so we started inviting a few doggy friends over for him to play with. He absolutely loved it — and his little friendship group just kept growing!
These days, Benji knows exactly when his friends are coming over. You’ll often find him waiting by the window, eagerly watching for them to arrive. Seeing how much he enjoys spending time with his friends inspired us to open our home and create the same happy, relaxed experience for other dogs.
Small by choice, personal by nature
We deliberately keep Cavapaws small, with no more than three friends at a time. This means we’re able to give each dog the attention, affection and care they deserve, rather than becoming just another face in a busy daycare.
We both work from home, so we’re around throughout the day to give your pup whatever they need — whether that’s energetic playtime, a peaceful nap, some extra cuddles or simply a little reassurance.
Every dog is different, and that’s what we love. We take the time to get to know their personality, their routines and all the little things that make them feel happy and at home.
Starting on the right paw
Before your pup becomes part of the Cavapaws family, we always arrange a relaxed meet-up at By the Way Park, just around the corner from our home. It’s the perfect opportunity for your dog and Benji to meet on neutral ground, have a sniff, enjoy a little walk and make sure they’re going to be the best of friends.
For us, Cavapaws isn’t simply about looking after dogs. It’s about creating friendships, giving dogs a safe and loving place to enjoy themselves, and giving their humans peace of mind knowing they’re being cared for as one of our own.
